As an Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for the receiving and processing of parcels and goods for our customers, identifying and classifying products, damage inspection, consolidation and forwarding the parcels to our wrapping branches under the Supervisor's control.
Job Duties are:
Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
Packs or unpacks a wide variety of items into or from cartons, boxes, or similar containers upon request
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
Contact supervisor if a mistake is identified
Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
Qualifications:
Meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Provide customers with service that exceeds their expectations
Be available at your home during the day
Have reliable transportation to deliver mail to the closest post office
Access to a PC or laptop, a digital camera or phone with camera
Ability to move packages weighing up to 35 lbs
